Course Description

Dynamic Programming – Theory, Computation and Empirical Applications

This is a 5-day event. The Course consists of both theoretical sessions (in the form of lectures) and practical sessions. Each practical session focuses on a MATLAB exercise. Its aim is to complement the lectures with empirical applications.

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptop with an installation of MATLAB. If this is not feasible, the participant should inform the organizers and they will provide a laptop (please note that, in this case, the laptop will be available to the participant only during the lectures).

Monday 04/07/2016 to Friday 08/07/2016:

  •     1st Morning Lecture: 09:15-10:45
  •     Coffee break: 10:45-11:15
  •     2nd Morning Lecture: 11:15-12:45
  •     Lunch break: 12:45-14:15
  •     Afternoon Lecture (MATLAB exercise): 14:15-16:15

ECTS Credits

Participants who successfully complete the course can earn 4 ECTS credits (reported in the participation certificate). The grade is based on the evaluation of the instructors. Participants should check with their own University whether these ECTS credits are transferable.
